We have chosen not to charge dues to our members.
We do a block style rehearsal schedule where we meet for 4.5 hours on a Saturday Afternoon and 2 Weds. Then tke a month off and repeat until the concert. Usually 3 blocks including the concerts. No weekly rehearsals. We rehearse at our venues and in Kent.
Description
Illumni Men’s Chorale is one of the Seattle area’s leading tenor/bass choral ensembles.
The group is composed of a unique mix of professional singers, instrumentalists, educators, and dedicated choral artists. Illumni members have performed with organizations such as the Metropolitan Opera and Seattle Opera, and have appeared on shows including American Idol.
With countertenors who can soar above soprano high C and basses who can descend to G1 — below the traditional bass low C — Illumni is not limited to a conventional TTBB sound. The ensemble explores music across a wide range of styles and genres.
Illumni has appeared in concert with the Harvard Glee Club, the University of Virginia Glee Club, the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus, and numerous other local and national choirs.
The group has appeared on America’s Got Talent, as well as on local and national television, including New Day Northwest and KING FM. Illumni’s fundraising and community outreach programs were recognized in an interview with CNN/Headline News.
In print media, Illumni has been featured in The Tacoma News Tribune, Russian World News, and on Octavism.com.

We are always seeking new composers and singers. Illumni has premiered over 40 new works in the past 15 years.
