Description
Endolyne Children's Choir is a secular community choir, offering Kodály-based music education in a joyful, engaging environment to singers in grades K-12. Our core values are inclusion, respect, commitment, and teamwork. As a non-audition choir with a full scholarship enrollment option, we strive to eliminate entry barriers and welcome every child who loves to sing.
ECC was founded in 2003 and is based in West Seattle. We offer four choir levels: Debut Prep (kindergarten); Debut (Grades 1-2); Encore (grades 3-6); Advanced Ensemble (grades 6-12).
ECC rehearses once per week, and choristers are expected to practice at home for 30 minutes - 2 hours per week, depending on choir level. Singers perform approximately 10 concerts per year, performing at events such as West Seattle Hometown Holidays, the Fauntleroy Fall Festival, Seattle Center Winterfest, and the Alki Christmas Ships. Singers also participate in local choral music festivals.
Our Vision:
Endolyne Children’s Choir teaches the joy of singing in a community setting that fosters self -confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
Our Mission:
Endolyne Children’s Choir is a non-audition choir that provides robust and transformative choral education for all young singers. We empower our choristers to develop confidence, form friendships, and learn performance skills in an inclusive, equitable environment.
