Description

Journey back in time with transcendent medieval Byzantine chants from Constantinople’s Hagia Sophia. These Northwest Series performances will be followed by a tour to Stanford Live (live.stanford.edu), in the virtual-reality synthesized acoustic environment of Hagia Sophia itself, which for nearly 1,000 years was the largest enclosed space in the world.
