Auditions for 2019-20 season
Description
Are you interested in joining our team? Choir of the Sound is holding auditions for all voice parts (particular need for tenors and basses) for its 2019-2020 season beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 8, and at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, at Terrace View Presbyterian Church, 4700 - 228th St. SW., Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043. Other dates are available by special arrangement.

Audition process:
• Your audition will begin with an extended warm-up to display the range and qualities of your singing voice.
• You will be quizzed on intervals, rhythm, and pitch retention.
• You will be asked to sight-read a short musical excerpt.
• You will be asked to sight-read your voice part on a standard four-part chorale.
No prepared piece is required.
