Description

January 27, 2020, marks the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. Diverse settings of Psalm 137, “By the waters of Babylon...,” by Bach, Schein, Sweelinck, Rossi, and others, introduce the West Coast premiere of Austrian composer—and Auschwitz victim—Marcel Tyberg’s Mass in F major.
