Description
The Community Chorus of Port Townsend and east Jefferson County is a non-profit, educational, artistic and recreational organization, established exclusively to benefit the general public, for which it provides music, and from which it membership is composed.
It began in the fall of 1975 when a group of singers banded together to perform Handel's Messiah. We encourage participation by experienced and novice singers 16 years and older. Part of our mission is to provide a forum for those who are returning to choral music.
Rehearsal Information: We have two seasons a year, with Sunday evening rehearsals beginning in early September and again in early January. Winter or holiday concerts are generally in early December and spring concerts are in April or May.
