Description
A friendly, cohesive group of dedicated musicians, ages 17 and older, who are drawn together by their love of singing, ChoralSounds Northwest is a Burien-based mixed community chorus under the baton of Artistic Director Dr. Ryan Ellis. ChoralSounds combines the challenge and musicianship of traditional choral music with the fun of other modern styles of music. ChoralSounds offers a musical home to Burien-area singers who want to experience the camaraderie of performing with a professional group. CSN also offers many solo, duet, and group opportunities to our singers, including membership in our two small auditioned ensembles, VocalSounds Northwest and The Smamblettes.

Description
SilverSounds Northwest (SSN), under the direction of Paula Hawkins, is a mixed chorus of mostly retired folks from around South King County who believe that “You're never too old to rock and roll!”
This fun loving group presents their annual Mainstage show at the Highline Performing Arts Center every April, which features clever themes and narration, sets, light costuming, choreography, humor and hi-jinks. Most singers are involved in more than singing, as they entertain audiences with dancing, acting and solos. This fun-filled group performs regularly around the community.

Description
Northwest Associated Arts was founded in 1984 as Highline Civic Chorale in response to the need for a vibrant, diverse south-end (Seattle) chorus that would bring quality choral music into the community while challenging experienced singers. In 1986, the Chorale changed its name to ChoralSounds Northwest (CSN) and since has added youth choruses (YouthSounds Northwest) as well as a chorus for senior singers (SilverSounds Northwest). With two Artistic Directors and more than 150 singers, NWAA is proud to be an active and thriving part of Burien and South Seattle's arts scene.
