Description
The Bainbridge Chorale, founded in 1971, is an auditioned community choral performance company. Its mission is to enrich and inspire its singers, audience and the community by sharing the transcendent power of choral music.
The Chorale typically presents two December and two April concerts, plus a December Family concert. Beyond its regular performances, the Chorale reaches out to the community with the following endeavors, among others:
• The Bainbridge Youth Choir, an age-graded choir comprised of four age-graded ensembles for youth aged K - 14
• An annual Messiah Sing-along in December, and Community Caroling event in downtown Winslow.
• The annual summer "Bainbridge Sings! Classics to contemporary - works you love to sing". Anyone who loves to sing and wants to read through a selection of favorite works, is invited to join Chorale members for one or more Monday evening sight-reading sessions under the direction of Chorale Music Director Michael Miller.

Description
The Bainbridge Youth Choir focuses on providing a comprehensive and progressive choral education within a choir community, with an emphasis on vocal production, ensemble performance, and music reading/theory. Repertoire includes a wide variety of classical, contemporary and popular music.
The choir consists of four non-auditioned ensembles open to both boys and girls: Early Singers (for boys and girls in K-1) Encora (for ages 6-8), Cantabile (for ages 9-11), and Chamber Choir (for ages 11 and older with choral experience). They present two concerts annually in December and April, and perform regularly in outreach events in the community.
The mission of the Bainbridge Youth Choir is to provide a transformative experience through high-quality, diverse choral music education which emphasizes teamwork, encourages self-discipline, and fosters a deep commitment to artistic excellence.
The program is designed to instill a love of music, develop musicality, and encourage a life-long engagement with choral music.
