Description

With a theme inspired by two contemporary pieces on the text of the poem “Listening” by Amy Lowell, we present a number of short choral works exploring the intertwining of humanity and music. With works from the late Romantic period to the current era, the program includes composers from Rimsky-Korsakov to Sibelius to Arvo Pärt. This eclectic program promises both triumphant moments of jubilation and solemn moments of contemplation of what it means to be human. We invite you to come along on this journey of discovery.
