Description

"The Shalom Arch" will be performed in partnership with the VSO School of Music, Orpheum Voices mixed choral ensemble. The concert will focus on music by Jewish-American and Jewish-Canadian composers of the 20th century, including Kurt Weill, Srul Irving Glick, Leonard Bernstein, & Leonard Cohen. With the inclusion of sacred and secular pieces in a wide variety of genres, and music from the Diaspora, we aim to present the depth and breadth of music by Jewish composers and from Jewish traditions.
