Description

Sine Nomine's Spring performance project is a celebration of the 500th Anniversary of the death of French Renaissance master Josquin des Prez (c.1450-1521). The course will feature the 'Missa Sine Nomine' - 'Mass without a name' - and other pieces to showcase Josquin, and will include movements from 'Missa Sine Nomines' by other composers from Mexico, England, and Italy.

This virtual singing opportunity is open to EVERYONE who has a love of Renaissance polyphony and would like to learn more about the music, history, and culture that makes this music so uniquely beautiful. And- you can complete the project all in the comfort of your own home! Please do share this invitation with all who may be interested - even if they are not in Seattle!
