Ever wanted to learn some basic singing techniques? Feeling rusty? Want a refresher or a “tune up” after the summer off? All are welcome! Free event!

Join Masterworks Choral Ensemble’s first “Open Sing” with new director Ben Luedcke as we spend an hour vocalizing as a group: we’ll explore some basic breathing techniques for singing, learn some strategies for how to make and refine various vowel sounds, and investigate helpful tips with how to better use our full range.

Join us for one or two nights:
When: Tuesday, August 15, 7:00 – 8:00 pm and Tuesday, August 22 , 7:00 – 8:00 pm

About Ben
Ben Luedcke is currently completing his Doctorate in Choral Conducting at University of Washington. In addition to his work as a conductor, Ben studied “Evidence-Based Vocal Pedagogy” at UW with the clinician and author Kari Ragan, and has taught voice at both Grinnell College and Monmouth College.
