Description

Bellevue Chamber Chorus delves again into animated storytelling with Canadian composer Imant Raminsh’s mysterious and evocative setting of a Pablo Neruda poem, “The Stolen Branch.” In the Night We Shall Go In, set for SATB chorus, cello and piano, is alternately lyrical and romantic, frigid and austere, depicting the awakening of a winter garden, the starry sky, and the pair who leave their safe space to experience it. Eli Weinberger joins us again on cello, along with Kristine Anderson on piano.
