Whatcom Chorale invites you to share an afternoon of shimmering harmonies and inspiring melody as we present Elaine Hagenberg’s stirring Illuminare. Featuring the insightful voices of contemporary women composers, this concert explores compelling themes of freedom, resilience, perseverance, and fulfillment with artful and innovative settings of poetry by Edna St. Vincent Millay; Sara Teasdale; Alfred, Lord Tennyson; and David Rosenthal.
