Description
This program will convey our desire for emotional simplicity. We’ll consider the origins of humility as a result of hiding, surrender, sorrow, or gratitude, and will explore contexts in which we find ourselves humble: while tenderly in love, or in need, or witnessing the majesty of nature. HUMILITY will feature writings from many sources, set to music by Gabriela Lena Frank, Stacy Garrop, Anna-Karin Klockar, David Lang, Forrest Pierce, Sarah Rimkus, Sarah Riskind, Augusta Read Thomas, and Dale Trumbore.
