Hope for the HolidaysSongs of Light and Celebrations
Description
Join Sno-King Community Chorale as it presents music perfect for the holidays. Prepare to hear beautiful contemporary arrangements of some of our favorite Holiday melodies like: "The First Nowell", "O Little Town of Bethlehem", "Do You Hear What I Hear" and more. In addition to these delightful tunes there will be songs that remind us that light conquers the darkness, including our very own commissioned piece, "The Light of Future Things", the result of Zoom sessions where our choir members submitted their thoughts, feelings, and poetry to our lyricist and composer, a bright star aimed at the pandemic's dark shadow. SKCC now presents that uplifting work of art to our audiences during our night of Hope for the Holidays.
The Chorale will be accompanied by Ms. Debra DeMiero, an adjunct professor at Edmonds College and highly regarded pianist throughout the area, and other instrumentalists, featuring Luis Nenninger on violin.
