Description

Welcome to a musical and spiritual journey that takes a deeper look at what it means to “belong.” Join us as we re-envision “home” as not just a place or a group of people, but also “home” as a state of mind! Our program includes music by many of today’s leading choral composers (Whitacre, Gjeilo, Wyers, Hagenberg and Ešenvalds), accompanied by piano, violin, cello, and percussion. Come explore a variety of “homes” from a variety of places, including an African American spiritual, a German quartet by Johannes Brahms, a setting of an African proverb, and a popular song from China.
