Description
Northwest Repertory Singers concludes a season of CONTRASTS May 2–3 with works from the Classical era by Beethoven (Elegischer Gesang) and Haydn (Missa Brevis Sancti Joannis de Deo, featuring strings and organ) juxtaposed with world music influences from St. Francis in the Americas: A Caribbean Mass by Glenn McClure (featuring steel drum). NWRS is delighted to be joined by the White River High School Chamber Choir, Robin Howard, director, who will perform separately and combine with NWRS to form an intergenerational massed choir with modern works by Jake Runestad and André Thomas.
