The first adventure we are taking this year is a "trip" to Italy. We'll start at 6:00 with an optional dinner hour, cooking and eating pasta puttanesca and drinking wine.

After our dinner, at 7:00 we will sit down to enjoy Opera re-Defined, a brief expose on opera. We will play a short 5-question trivia challenge for your chance to win tiramisu delivered to your door. Naturalmente, we will sing opera choruses together (Va pensiero, Brindisi, and Anvil Chorus), using Youtube lyric videos as our guide.

Once we've exhausted ourselves with Italy and want to return to American soil, at 8:00 we will look at "Ain't Gonna Let Nobody Turn Me Around" in preparation for our February session, which centers on Black History Month.
