St. James Cathedral Resident Ensemble Opus 7 rings in the joyous seasons of Advent and Christmas with a stunning program of European and American favorites. The concert features Francis Poulenc’s dramatic Quatre Motets pour le temps de Noël, Hugo Distler’s Lo How a Rose e’re blooming, and O Heiland, reiß die Himmel auf by Johannes Brahms. NW composers include John Muehleisen, Bern Herbolsheimer and Giselle Wyers; as well as music by Pärt, Pierre Villette, and Javier Busto.
