Our May concerts are always anchored by the season’s Finding Your Voice commission. This year we’re reaching out to Puget Sound area veterans and their families for poetry submissions which 2016-17 Composer-in-Residence John Muehleisen who expects to find strong parallels in the words and experiences of modern soldiers with those in March’s Kipling Passion performances. The results will be performed alongside Shawn Kirchner’s choral cycle "Unclouded Day" and Will Averitt’s "Over Jordan."
